Cookie policy

Before you choose, this site writes nothing to your browser. You can check for yourself: open the developer tools, Storage panel, and look before you click.
1. What happens when you arrive
A request appears with two equivalent options, accept or decline. Until then Google Analytics is not loaded and no cookie is written.
If you decline, the choice is remembered and the site keeps working exactly the same: you lose nothing.
2. What gets stored if you accept
| Name | Whose it is | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics, written by the dexweb.site domain | Tells one visitor from another without knowing who you are | 13 months |
| _ga_R0830PR0HD | Google Analytics, written by the dexweb.site domain | Keeps the state of the current visit | 13 months |
| dexweb:consenso | This site | Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so you are not asked every time | Until you clear it from your browser |
3. A note about dexweb:consenso
It is not a cookie: it is a local storage entry, it travels in no network request and never leaves your device. It only remembers your answer and is strictly necessary, so it needs no consent. I list it anyway because it is the one thing the site writes when you decline.
4. What is not here
No profiling cookies, no advertising pixels, no social buttons that track you, no data sold to third parties. The statistics are there for me to understand where visits come from, not to build a profile worth selling.
5. How to change your mind
At the bottom of every page there is a “manage cookies” link: open it, the request comes back and you can answer again. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops collecting straight away.
You can also clear the cookies from your browser, under privacy or site data in the settings. Clearing them also wipes the memory of your choice, so the request comes back on your next visit.
6. Where the processing is described
Who handles the data, on what legal basis, for how long and what rights you have is set out in the privacy notice.
